IMPORTANT: 2025/ 2026 Membership Applications
A volunteer fee of $150 will be added to First Family and Introductory USFS Membership types for the skating season (fiscal year July 1 to June 30). Upon verification that a member family completes a minimum of FOUR (4) hours of volunteer service to the club within the season which runs July 1 to June 30, the $150 fee will be refunded. Refunds can take up to 15 business days to process after the month close or after a special event. Volunteers MUST sign the roster at the club session or special event for which they volunteered to get the final credit (registering through SignUp Genius does not record your hour(s) on the membership portal). Volunteer hours are not carried over between seasons (July 1 to June 30).
If you would like to volunteer as an ice monitor (club sessions offered mid-September to April 30) or for other club activities such as the Essex Skating Club synchro competition in November, Winter Holiday show in December, ESCapade competition in April, Special Olympics competition (typically February), or Spring into Summer show (April/May), please contact us at EssexSkatingClubVolunteers@gmail.com. Before the beginning of each month for ice monitors and before each event, an email is sent to the membership requesting families to sign up for volunteer slots.
Skaters entering their first year of college should contact the club for a four (4) year discounted collegiate rate of $135.
The following documents should be reviewed CAREULLY by parents/guardians, skaters and coaches BEFORE completing the renewal process.
As a member family/athlete of Essex Skating Club, you are expected to conduct yourself according to the respective code of conduct at ALL skating venues. Guidelines and Codes of Conduct will be strictly enforced at ESC club sessions. Violations can result in immediate suspension of privileges or revocation of membership from the Club.
