Victor H. Schmidt (1919-2020) was a longtime skater, friend, and supporter of the Figure Skating Club of the Quad Cities, who passed away on December 7, 2020, at the age of 101. He was a sponsor of the Quad Cities Championships for many years, and left the FSCQC a generous bequest in his will to help ensure that this competition opportunity would be available to our skaters for years to come. To honor him, we have renamed our competition
