ADDENDUM TO SPRING PREVIEW COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT
As of 5-11-2022
Due to the number of skaters as well as the number of officials participating in this competition, the Chief Referee and host club have determined that a Recall event is not feasible and therefore the following change to the announcement has been made. This change has been approved by the Regional Vice Chair of U.S. Figure Skating’s Competitions Committee.
AWARDS: 1st - 4th place medals will be awarded for all events.
At the end of the competition, trophies will be presented to the best 3 in the lower levels (Pre-Juvenile & lower) and the best 3 in the upper levels (Juvenile through Senior and all Adult, Young Adult) based on rankings of their best score. Any Duets/Trios will be included on the appropriate list based on the level of the team.
SPRING PREVIEW SHOWCASE RANKING:
There will be no Recall event for the 2022 Spring Preview competition. Instead, all skaters will be ranked by their highest score earned during the competition events.
The ranking will be divided into lower level skaters (Pre-Juvenile & lower) or higher level skaters (Juvenile through Senior and all Adult, Young Adult). Any Duets/Trios will be ranked on the appropriate list based on the level of the team.
Skaters may only be ranked one time for a singles event. Any skater who competes in more than one singles event will be ranked by their highest score received in any one event.
Skaters may be ranked again if they are entered as part of a duet/trio. The Duets/Trios will be ranked as a team.
Note: If the chief referee combines events mixing designated lower and higher levels (for instance, a combined Pre-Juvenile/Juvenile event), the score each skater receives will rank them on the list for the level of their original entr
