Schedule & Practice Ice - Update*****

The tentative schedule is now available. Practice ice selection is also open for those who have already reserved sessions. Practice ice for other skaters wishing to reserve sessions will open next Monday. There will be no practice ice reservations at the competition or after the deadline date of Monday, April 5th. We have tentatively scheduled fifteen 20-minute practice ice sessions, open to all, in five one-hour blocks with a maximum of 12 skaters on each 20-minute session. Watch the upper-right corner of this page for practice ice dates.

***** 3/29/21, 3:00pm - An additional Practice Ice session has been added to Friday afternoon at 2:40 pm on Rink 1.

The Genesee Invitational WILL proceed as planned.  

Bill Grays Regional Iceplex confirmed that the restrictions issued by the Monroe County Health Department on April 5, 2021 withdraw permissions for youth hockey ONLY. 

This occurrence is a strong reminder that following safety protocols is paramount during the pandemic.   All participants are reminded to review the event safety plan and Monroe County Health Department rules and guidance. The health and safety of EVERYONE (skaters, coaches, parents, officials and rink staff) is a priority.   We need everyone’s cooperation to maintain a safe environment for the event, both inside and outside the facility.

The Genesee Figure Skating Club will be complying with all federal, state, and local regulations and additional public health notices in place at the time of the Genesee Invitational, including recommendations from U.S. Figure Skating. Those attending the 2021 Genesee Invitational are responsible for reviewing and complying with all federal, state, and local guidelines pertaining to travel in New York.
