SKATE - OFF Details

There are 5 special awards given at Autumn Antics. The awards will be given out after each skate-off, just like last year.

Our hope is to get the younger skaters home earlier.

At the end of the day, there will be five skate offs:

  • Deese Award (duet/trio/group Freeskate 6 and below)
  • Dever Award (duet/trio/goup No Test and above)
  • Palos Award (Freeskate 6 and below)
  • Earnhardt-Hughes Award (No Test and above)
  • Williams Award (All Adult disciplines)

The skate-offs will run in the order they are listed above. The winner of each award will be announced  before the next skate off begins.

It is possible for a skater to be nominated in more than one event.  In this case, we ask that you prepare for the second skate off as quickly as possible and we will do our best to leave you enough time to do so.  If a skater only wishes to participate in one skate-off, they may choose to do so.

The skating order for the skate-off will be posted shortly after the last event.

PLEASE REFER TO ANNOUNCEMENT FOR AWARD CATEGORIES.

PRACTICE ICE

There will be no official practice ice.  Anyone wanting practice time, check with AZ Ice Peoria for freestyle and public sessions on their website at https://azice.com/peoria/ or by calling (623)334-1200.
