Welcome to the 21st Biennial Genesee Invitational.The Genesee Figure Skating Club is very happy to welcome skaters, parents and coaches to the 21st Biennial Genesee Invitational.
Below you will find information for your use.

LOCATION: We will be skating at the state of the art Gene Polisseni Center on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. The rink address is 200 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester, New York, 14623.
Several maps of the RIT campus can be found at www.rit.edu/maps .

HOTEL: The official hotel is the Country Inn and Suites by Radisson located at 797 East Henrietta Rd., Rochester, NY, 14623. Contact information:  585-427-0131.  Website:

The hotel has a pool and free breakfast for your enjoyment. There is a fitness center, free Wi-Fi and freshly baked cookies.  Ask for Genesee Figure Skating Club Families for a favorable room rate. The trip to the Polisseni Center takes approximately ten to fifteen minutes depending on traffic. Google maps will offer you several routes.

PRACTICE ICE:  Practice ice sessions will be offered at various times throughout the competition on the official ice surface. These one-hour times will consist of three 20-minute sessions which will cost $20 each, will be open to all levels, and wil be limited to 12 skaters. See the "Practice Ice" tab on your registration page to reserve one or more of these sessions.

NEW - March 14, 2019

We are working on getting a schedule published within the next few days - early next week is our goal. Our event this year is VERY popular. Right now, it appears that our competition may start as early as 12 noon on Friday, 4/5, and may go as late as 6 pm on Sunday, 4/7. Days and times for specific groups of events are not set yet, except that all IJS events will happen on Saturday. Check this page often for updates.

Please be aware that a new Announcement for the competition has been uploaded. The previous version contained an error in the Excel Juvenile and Juvenile Plus requirements. Nothing else was changed.
