Important Requirement:  US Figure Skating requires all competitors (or their guardians on their behalf) to complete a COVID waiver prior to the competition.  The waiver is on the USFS Event Management System (or EMS). To sign the waiver:

--Log in to Members Only on the USFS site (www.USFigureskating.org)

  • If you are a USFS Member (if you belong to a local club, you likely are a USFS member).use your USFS number to log in. 
  • If you are a Learn-to-Skate member, use your Learn-to-Skate membersship number to log in. 
  • If you need assistance with your member number and password, contact Member Services at memberservices@usfigureskating.org •

--Click the “Person Icon” next to your name followed by “2020-21 Competition Season Profile” •

--Click “Sign Waivers”

o Athletes under the age of 18 – parent/guardian must sign on their behalf

o After completing all three, take a screen shot of the main page with “last updated: XX/XX/XXXX” to show at registration.




Skaters Coaches Administrators

COVID Health and Safety Plan: 

Following USFS, the CDC, the PA Departmennt of Health, as well as Hershey Entertainment and Resorts policies, this competition will have procedures in place to help keep participants safe.

A Zoom meeting will be scheduled a few days prior to the competition to answer coach/parent/skater questions.

The basics at present (and subject to change):

  • Masked are required at all times on Hersheypark property, including in the Arena. 
  • Skaters will be allowed to remove their mask as they are stepping on the ice for their  competition and will put it back on as they step back off the ice. 
  • Warm ups as well as practice ice require masks on the ice. 
  • Skaters will have a designated time for arrival and must depart immediately upon finishing their competition. 
  • SPECTATORS are limited. Only one per skater, and only entry at designated time. Each skater will be given 1 (one) color coded wrist band for each event they enter, this color-coded wrist band will be used by the adult spectator to gain entry to Hershey Park Arena at the appropriate time 
  • Spectators will not be permitted on the lower level of the arena and must remain in the designated spectator area. The only exception is for skaters ages 12 and under who require assistance tying their skates.
