Skaters Coaches Administrators

April 3, 2017

Dear competitors, skaters and coaches,

The weekend of the Genesee Invitational will be very busy at the Rochester Institute of Technology.  Not only will you need to arrive an hour prior to your event you will need to budget an additional 20 -30 minutes for parking.  Parking will be at a premium and you may find yourself walking a bit.

Google Maps or a similar program should guide you to the RIT campus. The lot closest to the rink (Lot “D”) will likely be restricted at least part of the day on Saturday. Parking lots ”N”, “E”, “G”, and “F” are all options but will require a bit of walking. The URL  https://maps.rit.edu  will bring up a useful map of the campus. Look for the Ritter Arena labeled “RIA”.

You will be allowed to drop off people at the upper level of the rink on the west side of the Frank Ritter Memorial Ice Arena. There is a large sculpture, The Sentinel, which you may use for a landmark.

Registration is on the ground floor with stairs leading to it.

There will be plenty of signage, both outdoors and in, to guide you on your way.

Our RIT Tiger snack bar will be open for coffee and treats when you arrive.

We are truly looking forward to having you join us at our beautiful facility.

Sincerely,

Lynn Hayes, Chair
