Competition Announcement

The 6.0 system of judging will be used for ALL events.  

We will be using the 2017-2018 requirements for well-balanced, test-track and adult freeskates.

Layouts for showcase events and all other events.

 

IMPORTANT NOTICE

Showcase events will be held under Spotlight

Showcase single and duet events will be held under spotlight.  A backdrop will be installed across the short axis of the arena approximately 20' from the end, reducing the actual performance size to approximately 180' x 85'.  Skaters will enter the ice from behind the backdrop.  Judges will be sitting in a roped off area of the stands.

 

CRITIQUES FOR JUVENILE - SENIOR

We hope to offer a limited amount of critiques for Juvenile – Senior competitors. This will be determined by judges and ice availability.  If you have a skater who would be interested in a critique please email the name of the skater and event (i.e. Intermediate Short Program) to agskatermom@gmail.com.

BVFSC FUNDRAISER

We will offer a "special section" for you to video or take pictures of your skater.  Sign up under the merchandise when registering your skater.

Rules are as follows:

1.  $5 per event (Freeskate and artistic only) per parent.

2.  If two parents want to partake (one video and one photograph), this would be $10 per event.

3.   Only parents who have registered will receive a special pass to the photography area.

4.  Parents will only be allowed to video or photograph his/her own child.
